You're More Than "Just a Logo"
When you think about the brand of your company do you immediately think "logo?"
For major companies there are extensive amounts of research and analysis involved in creating, maintaining, and adjusting their brand. A brand is not simply a company's logo. Brand refers to everything your company is. From logo; colors; graphics & imaging; language, voice & tone; font choices; sizes & spacing; how things line up and more. Your brand IS your company.
Most smaller companies overlook (or are unaware) of how the choices they make--conscious or unconscious--can affect their company. With large companies, if they want to make a change, it is researched and marketing thoroughly first. Multiple options and choices are tested and once the most successful option is found it is used. In many cases, different markets may require different options.
For your small business, most of this isn't feasible or necessary. However, taking the time to decide on a few key aspects of your brand will help further refine and define your company.
You have a logo. Great start. Build from there. If there are words what is the font? If it is a basic font, use it throughout your written information. If it is something like the avoid-at-all-costs Papyrus (sorry if you use Papyrus in your logo) choose a standardized font for your company to use throughout written materials. Side note... if you use Papyrus, contact us and we can help redesign your logo.
If you would like to take your branding even further than the few things mentioned above, contact us today and we can help you take your brand and your company to the next level. We'll work with you to create the exact level of branding you want and need.
We know your small business is more than "just a logo."
